LLELA Eco-Tour

Join us for an eco-tour kayak river trip down the Elm Fork of the Trinity River from the Lake Lewisville Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) or as we like to call her the La Santísima Trinidad. This, the most Holy Trinity, via Alonso De León from about 1690. Yes, it seems this lovely river has been inspiring folks in this area for quite some time!

Our paddle is a unique experience on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, paddling through the ecosystem of the old and the new river channel. After our safety presentation we progress down 6 river miles to the Hebron Parkway access park before shuttling you back to LLELA. After kayaking you are welcome to hike the nearly 8 miles of trails and enjoy your time at LLELA.

Safety talk between 9:00am – 10:00 am, paddles wet at 10:00 am, for a 3- 4-hour trip down the river and through one of the most pristine sections of the Trinity in Dallas!

Southeast UTAH Multi-Sport Adventure

Join us for a 5 day /4 night multi-sport adventure in SE Utah.

As an orientation to the region, we spend two days exploring Bluff Utah and the areas’ Native American culture. This time provides an opportunity to experience both a hike to Puebloan ruins and an introductory paddle on the San Juan River. This Utah multi-sport adventure then departs our hotel in Bluff and launch on a 3-day paddle down the San Juan River to Mexican Hat.  A limited number of inflatable kayaks will be available for those who want to try paddling the river or be guided in the professionally oared rafts.

Out multi-sport adventure continues with camping riverside where we will be treated to an outdoor museum of archaeology, geology and dark skies for star gazing. All meals will be prepared and enjoyed to the backdrop sounds of the water.

For those not wanting to rough it camping, we offer a single day on the water to one of the most remarkable ancient Puebloan ruins and petroglyphs sites in the SouthWest. Afterwards, you will be transported back to the hotel via four-wheeler to enjoy the comforts of a hotel for two more nights before being re-united with the river participants.
