What does the Summer Solstice Celebration include?
Join Outdoors with Grace, KayakPower and Kayaking Houston for a weekend celebrating the longest day of the year at a weekend of paddling and camping. Our weekend of celebration will begin with a Strawberry Moon Sunset paddle and include a paddle down the San Marcos River on Saturday.
Summer Solstice celebration weekend events start around 5PM on Friday June 21st at San Marcos River Retreat. Cost for the weekend is $40 which includes camping and facility use fees, shuttles and commemorative sticker and T-shirt.

Campout weekend participants should provide all their own camping equipment and food for the weekend. PFDs and helmets required on the San Marcos River. Limited equipment rentals will be made available if booked in advance, including kayak, paddle, PFD and helmet.
