LLELA Eco Paddle Tour

Join us for a eco-tour kayak river trip down the Elm Fork of the Trinity River from the Lake Lewisville Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) or as we like to call her the La Santísima Trinidad. This, the most Holy Trinity, via Alonso De León from about 1690. Yes it seems this lovely river has been inspiring folks in this area for quite some time!

Our paddle is a unique experience on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, paddling through the ecosystem of the old and the new river channel at LLELA. After our safety presentation we progress down 6 river miles to the Hebron Parkway access park before shuttling you back to LLELA. After kayaking you welcome to hike nearly 8 miles of trails and enjoy your time at LLELA.

$50 per paddler and includes equipment rental, shuttle, light refreshments (advanced registration required).

We also help educate the public through environmental awareness while enjoying the outdoor experience of the park and the Trinity River.

Safety talk between 9:00am – 10:00 am, then paddles wet at 10:00 am, for a 3- 4-hour trip down the river and through one of the most pristine sections of the Trinity in Dallas! Check out the calendar for available dates.
