Join Outdoors with Grace, KayakPower and Kayaking Houston for a weekend celebrating the longest day of the year at a Summer Solstice weekend of paddling and camping. Our weekend of celebration will begin with a Strawberry Moon Sunset paddle on Friday and include a paddle down the San Marcos River on Saturday.
Summer Solstice Activities
Summer Solstice weekend events start around 5PM on Friday June 21st at San Marcos River Retreat. Cost for the weekend is $40 which includes camping, facility use fees, shuttles and commemorative sticker and T-shirt.
Participants must provide their own camping equipment and food for the weekend. Limited equipment available for rental when booked in advance.
